How do you teach your children about love?
[…] Week 1 – Love […]
[…] We’ve just finished doing “Love”. As the week progressed, I heard myself saying things like, “Well done for showing love to your sister,” and asking, “Was that a very loving thing to do?” It makes a change from, “Good girl,” or, “That’s naughty!” […]
i betcha some adults could use these lessons as well 😀
Too true!
This is great…I’ll be sharing this with a homeschool mom friend.
Thanks for reading!
The Fruit of the Spirit is such a good verse to memorize. Love is so important to teach because the world often gives crazy definitions… We are trying to teach love through action… our kids are still very young, we will have to add in lessons as they grow I’m sure
Marissa
The world has so many confusing definitions. It’s challenging for parents, that’s for sure!
What a wonderful idea for a Scripture Memory book!

This is great for kids! Nicely done!

This is simple and fun. I can imagine sitting around the table and doing this with a range of young children. For those who don’t homeschool, it would be a great after-school activity as well.

This is so awesome! I can’t wait to do these kind of projects with our kids!

Wonderful activities to teach children about love. We created opportunities for our children to show love. After a few times, they embraced the importance and began finding ways themselves.
How wonderful that your kids have taken the initiative to show love to others!
What a fun creative thought!! It’s wonderful when you can mix creative play with learning important lessons! Thanks for the great idea!
