This was inspired by this post on the Happy Home Fairy’s blog.
Yellow cardboard (one A4 sheet per crown, plus extra for the stars)
A stapler and staples
I cut the yellow cardboard in half lengthways and stapled it together to make one long strip.
I also cut out two star shapes. Then the girls got decorating. They used gold dot stickers for the crowns.
They put glue on the stars and sprinkled glitter.
I used a small piece of Sello tape to stick the skewers to the back of the star.
Then I measured the crown to fit their heads and stapled it closed.
During the activity, I told them about the three wise men who followed the star until they came to Jesus.
About that time some wise men from eastern lands arrived in Jerusalem, asking, “Where is the king of the Jews? We saw his star as it rose, and we have come to worship him.” – Luke 2:2
