1. Tell us a bit about your family.
The Husband and I have been married for 6 years and we welcomed our little hobbit into our lives 18 months ago. The Husband is a stay-at-home dad and has been taking care of The Munchkin since I had to go back to work. I work for a website called Parent24 which is really fun for me.
2. What have you found most surprising about motherhood?
I suppose a typical answer would be how fiercely protective I am of my son or how deeply I love him and while that is true is not something that I’ve only felt being a mother. That’s how I feel about all my family members.
What DID surprised me was how easily I adjusted but I think it’s down to the support that I have. The Husband and I are a team so I never feel alone. He’s far more level headed than I am and always has my back.
3. What is your biggest parenting worry?
My biggest worry is his safety in this country and the level of education that he’ll receive. I want more than anything to just cushion him from the evils of this world.
4. What do you enjoy most about blogging?
I’m a writer by trade and I like sharing stories. I like that I can connect with other people and commiserate with the parents not getting any sleep and cooing over their cute kids. I like that feeling of community.
