You are three today. Three! It seems like just yesterday that we brought you home from the hospital; this tiny thing with a mop of hair. And now, look at you! You’re a whole little person, with opinions, and likes and dislikes, and the ability to reason. (Seriously, every sentence out of your mouth begins with “But I ….”)
Where did my baby go?
You started preschool at the beginning of the year, and then last month we started homeschooling. I am so enjoying seeing you learn new things. You have adapted so well and I can see how learning alongside Angie is strengthening your bond as sisters.
You are so generous and caring, and I pray that these character qualities will only increase as you get older.
Your sweet little prayers melt my heart, and sometimes make me laugh. Your latest thing is to say, “Thank you that Mommy doesn’t give me a hard time,” when you pray.
My little wild child. I hope you never lose your adventurous spirit or your senses of humour. You keep us entertained with your antics.
Happy birthday, Emmy. We love you so much.
