I have another B-themed printable for you today. (Two maths worksheets in one week – who am I even?) We eat a lot of bananas in our house, so I knew the girls would enjoy a banana maths activity. This one introduced them to the concept of less than, greater than and equal to.
Get your free banana math printable at the end of this post.
I told them to think of the symbols as crocodiles’ mouths, and that the greedy crocodile wanted to eat the biggest bunch of bananas.
“But crocodiles don’t eat bananas,” Angie said. “Monkeys do. Why can’t it be a monkey mouth?”
I let Emmy do the worksheet as well, even though she is too young to grasp the lesson. She used it as counting practice instead.
Do let me know if you plan to use it and if your children enjoy it.
How do you prefer to eat bananas?
