When we started telling people we were thinking about homeschooling the girls, the number one response was, “But what about socialisation?” with “You must be SO patient!” coming in a close second.
If you’ve met my girls, you’ll understand why socialisation is the least of my concerns. 🙂
I used to be patient, and then I had children. These days I pray for patience continuously throughout the day!
For a while now, I’ve wanted to do something to open non-homeschoolers eyes to what homeschooling is really like. And the best way to do that is by getting homeschoolers to share their experiences.
I am going to be starting a series titled Real Life Homeschooling Behind The Scenes on this blog, and I am looking for homeschoolers to take part and give us a glimpse into your day-to-day homeschool life, share your reasons for choosing to homeschool and give some advice to new homeschoolers or to people considering homeschooling.
You can even take part anonymously if privacy is an issue.
