Peanut Butter Apple Bats

This week I’m sharing these delicious peanut butter apple bats for

These are really simple and quick to make. My girls were initially wary of the peanut butter and apple combination but once they had tasted it, they gobbled the bats up like there was no tomorrow.

Peanut Butter (We like the red Black Cat peanut butter. And when I say ‘we’, I mean ‘I’. The girls don’t really mind what kind they eat.)

To make

Cut one apple into slices. Cut each slice in half lengthways.

Cut the other apple in half, then cut each half into quarters.

Spread peanut butter over the skin on the quartered piece. Then place that piece (the body) between two halved slices (the wings).

And there you have it: a peanut butter apple bat.

This could work as part of an AT-word lesson, or for the letters A, B or P.

How do you like your apples?
