November was a big month for this blog. I decided, quite spur of the moment, to move to a self-hosted domain which turned out to be less daunting than I expected it to be. I haven’t finished going through all my old posts to fix missing images and broken links, but I’m getting there.
I also managed to post every weekday – yay me! As part of my move to this domain, I started sending out newsletters – you can sign up at the bar at the top of the page – and offered my very first subscriber freebie.
Can you believe we’ve been homeschooling for four months already? This month we learned the letter L, took a week off, then learned the letter I, had a review week and learned the IG-word family, and learned the letter H.
I wrote about needing to slow down and step out of Martha mode at this crazy-busy time of year. I also asked, Where is the Love? And I took part in the Solidarity Sister challenge again and introduced you to my sister, Brenda. You can read her interview with me over here.
I joined as a co-host of the Learning Kid Linkup. Make sure you stop by and read what has been shared. And I started a new series titled Friday Favourites. This month I shared my favourite Christian fiction, fiction, fiction series and Disney songs.
Last month I shared that I wanted to learn to use Stumbleupon properly. I’m still working on it. 🙂
I stuck to my blogging calendar, but I didn’t take part in as many linkups.
We’re going away in December, so I want to have posts scheduled for that week.
I’m still struggling with waking up early. It’s been so hot, so we’re all a bit lethargic over here. My GP recently upped my thyroid medication, so I’m hoping for more energy any day now. (I talk about my thyroid over at Suddenly A Mom.)
We didn’t do as much creative worship as I had hoped. I asked the girls to illustrate one of their memory verses. I’m planning to do that with every new verse we learn.
I’m really looking forward to our week at the beach, though I’m not anticipating too much rest. (Those of you with young kids will feel my pain. 🙂 )
What are your goals for December?
