This fingerprint manger craft was inspired by this post on Crafty Morning.
You will need:
- white cardboard/canvas
- brown paint
- peach paint
- yellow paint
- blue paint
- a lead pencil
I had bought these square canvases ages ago, but never got around to using them. They were obviously meant for this craft. 🙂 I drew an outline in pencil of the stable and Jesus in the manger.
The girls used brown paint for the outline of the stable.
They used peach paint to make the baby’s head.
And blue paint for his body.
They used yellow paint for the hay.
Then they finished the manger with the brown paint.
“And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in swaddling cloths and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn.” Luke 2:7
