This week Angie reviewed her most recent sight words and learned a few words from the ET-word family. (Reading the Alphabet.)
We go through a lot of plasters in our house. Every time Emmy is even slightly injured, whether there is blood or not, she demands a plaster to make it better. (I no longer buy fancy princess plasters; our medicine box now only holds the plain, cheap ones.) She also loves this teddy bear alphabet activity from Totschooling where she gets to put plasters on the bears.
The girls did pet portraits for this week’s craft.
We did week eight of Bible Road Trip. It was the book of Leviticus, which the girls found a bit boring – because which child likes learning about rules? Angie’s illustration of this week’s verse is below. I am so impressed with how well she is drawing these days. She’s really making an effort to draw something related to the verse. Emmy insists on drawing our family each week.
