One of the factors – though not the main one – in our decision to homeschool was the financial aspect. For our first year, I did not purchase any curriculum. The only costs involved were printing, stationery and craft supplies. Once we finished Learning the Alphabet and Reading the Alphabet, I decided to see if we could homeschool without printing anything. (So far, so good. But I’ll write more on that another time.)
This week I’m sharing some of my favourite free online homeschool resources.
I found Learning the Alphabet and Reading the Alphabet on her site. She also has tons of other activities and free printables available.
I also found this site very helpful. There are lots of activites and printables, as well as a set of free beginner readers that ties in with Reading the Alphabet.
This site has a lot of alphabet printables, as well as many themed printable packs.
This site has tons of free homeschool resources from all over the Internet, some available only for a limited time. I’ve found lots of interesting things here.
This site is another collection of free (or cheap) resources.
There are a lot of themed packs available here. We used Romping Roaring Numbers from this site for a while.
What other sites would you add to my list?
